What is MyCompanyID?

MyCompanyID is a digital staff verification platform that replaces physical ID cards. Staff carry their digital ID on their phone, and anyone can scan a QR code to instantly verify their identity and role.

How much does it cost?

MyCompanyID is currently free to use for all organisations. We may introduce premium features in the future, but core functionality will remain accessible.

How do I add staff members?

Log into the app as an organisation administrator, navigate to your staff list, and tap "Add Staff". Fill in their details, upload a photo, and they'll receive a unique staff ID and QR code.

How does verification work?

When someone needs to verify a staff member, they scan the QR code on the staff member's phone or printed card. This opens a verification page showing the staff member's photo, name, role, and live verification status.

What is the "Live Verified" badge?

The Live Verified badge confirms that the verification is happening in real-time and is not a screenshot or cached result. It includes an animated indicator that cannot be faked with a static image.

Can someone fake a verification?

MyCompanyID is designed to prevent fraud. Staff IDs use non-sequential 8-character codes that can't be guessed, and the live verification badge prevents screenshot misuse. Verifiers should always check for the animated live badge.

How do I update staff information?

Organisation administrators can update any staff member's information at any time through the app. Changes reflect immediately across all verification points.

What happens when a staff member leaves?

Administrators can deactivate or delete staff records immediately. Deactivated staff will show as "Inactive" when verified. Deleted staff will no longer appear in the system.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly in the app by going to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. You can also request deletion by contacting us.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encryption for all data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and follow industry best practices. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Do staff need to install the app?

Staff members can access their digital ID through the app for the best experience. Alternatively, they can use a printed QR card if they prefer not to use their phone.

Do verifiers need to install the app?

No. Verifiers simply scan the QR code with their phone's camera, which opens a web page showing the verified staff information. No app download required.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Delete via the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the MyCompanyID app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete My Account
  4. Confirm the deletion

Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Delete via Contact Form

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion using the contact form below. Simply select "Account Deletion" as the topic and provide your account email address. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.
